Tomas is my brother. He was number 6 out of 13. He was funny, fun to be with, caring, generous to a fault and loved himself and a real Paddy. We were friends for 45 years and only left when he could stay no longer. We are now down to only 12 and we all miss him.

Summer

The sun is shining here today but our hearts are still laden down with grief over the loss of you and T.T.
The sunshine has gone out of our lives but we know deep in our hearts thay you are both never too far away.
Even though we can't see either of you, we feel your presence all the time.

A loan from God

I’ll lend you for a little time
A child of mine, he said,
For you to love him while he lives
And mourn for when he’s gone.

It may be six or thirteen years,
Or twenty-two, or three,
But will you, till I call him back
Take care of him for me?

He’ll bring his charm to gladden you
And should his stay be brief,
You’ll have her lovely memories
As solace for your grief.

I cannot promise he will stay
Since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.

I’ve looked this wide world over
In search of teachers true
And from the throngs that crowd life’s lane
I’ve decided upon you.

Now will you give him all your love
Nor think the labour vain
And hate me when I come to call
To take him home again.

I fancy that I heard them say
‘Dear Lord thy will be done,
For all the joy, this child will bring
The risk of grief, we’ll run.

We’ll shelter him with tenderness
And love him while we may
And for the happiness we’ve known
Forever grateful stay.

And should the angels call for him
Much sooner than we planned,
We’ll brave the sadness that we feel
And try to understand.

To a wonderful brother.

To Thomas, you were a very popular and loved person. I hope you are happy up in heaven and I'm just guessing who you are hanging out with. Stay away from Anna Nicole Smith, she's a party animal. I'm sure and George Best are the best drinking buddies, I'm practially and alco having little brandy's for you, but of course its not the same having one with you. Life has changed alot since you have gone, we all miss you so much. Love your baby sis Lorraine (Boodie)

To a friend that has left

To Tomasz you were a man we got to know as a friend and part of a team. You are sadly missed by the gang in London who got to know you over a period of 20 years. There is a vacancy in the many places that you visited that will not be filled, none more so in our company. I am sure God has given you a list of things to do and I am sure the foremost on that list is to watch and care for your family. Lift them when they are down and encourage them when they are happy. Your friend Joe Divilly
